New Year 2010

It’s the start of a new year and a new decade.

What am I going to do in 2010?

I have a goal.  According to The Free Dictionary the definition of a goal is “The purpose toward which an endeavor is directed; an objective.”  I have objectives that I will achieve this year.  I know how to direct them, I know what my endeavours need to be and I have a plan.

My goal this year is to do More.

  • More helping my family and friends.
  • More blogging.
  • More learning on how to make money online.
  • More work on my websites.
  • More travel.
  • More new friends.
  • More exercise.

I’m just going to do more each day to enable me to grow as a person and learn more every day.

I’m not going to make any resolutions.  Lots of people do that and then many don’t keep them.  The definition of resolution is “A course of action determined or decided on”.  How many friends do you have who made a New Year’s Eve Resolution to quit smoking or join a gym or quit their job?  However, when the next New Year’s Eve rolls around, they are still smoking, never got to the gym in the whole year and are still working at the same job.

For many people, it’s the New Year – everyone else is making resolutions so they decide to make one too.  There’s no need for commitment, because everyone else is doing it and well, who keeps a New Year’s Resolution. You decided to join in, however if you don’t get it done, you haven’t lost anything because you haven’t needed to change.

Let me know your resolutions or goals are for this year.

What are YOU planning on doing this year?
