The end of my Christmas Holidays

I’ve just had 2 weeks holidays over Christmas. It’s about the first time I’ve had a paid holiday break in about 6 years.

I enjoyed the time off but I don’t like crowds of people so I don’t think I’ll be having a big break over Christmas again soon.

My town is a a big tourist town and everything is packed. Add in the Christmas and New Year pre and post sales and everywhere was just full of people.

I spent time with my family and enjoyed Christmas and New Year with them, but as they live in the same town as me, there is no need for time off for travel and no real need to use up my holidays.

Next Christmas/New Year I’ll just work as usual and do all my shopping after hours when there are less people.
