Solar Power Update

Here are some of my great results.

I wrote about changing from an electrical hot water system to solar powered hot water. This is what’s happened.

  • I have more hot water as I changed to a larger tank
  • I received a $800 rebate from the State Government
  • I received a $1600 rebate from the Federal Government
  • I rang Northpower and found out that I was using 6 units a day before I changed to Solar Power and  now I’m using 2 units a day
  • I feel good because I’m helping the environment AND saving money

If you need a new hot water system, consider changing to Solar Power.

Hi Tanny,

Great information and to the point. I was very interested in the rebates you received and the savings in your power consumption, which l’m sure a lot of us would be. Thank you.
