As I say Goodbye 2011, I have to look back to what I’ve accomplished. Wow, what a big year I’ve had. It’s been very busy, especially the last 2 months of it and it’s finally finished.
Personal Life
In my personal life, I’ve become more aware of myself. I know my faults, of which I have many, but this year I have embraced more of my strengths and acknowledged that I am an expert in many things. 2012 will be the year I really build on these strengths. I’ve been coasting for many years, and after some mindset adjustments, I am learning to stop coasting, to get out and do, rather then think about it.
Working Life
At work, I’ve been confirmed as a permanent Service Coordinator for the position I’ve filled for over 3 years. I was the Acting Branch Manager for a month and enjoyed that role. I’ve been working with different teams then I usually do, which has required different skills, is very rewarding and has taught me a lot from the changes. I’ve started a Diploma of Management. This is a big undertaking but will be worth it. I have more development to do with the Diploma and Leadership but I’m enjoying stretching myself. Getting my head back into formal studying has been a stretch, but I’m on track with that too.
The Internet
This year I have been making money from the Internet. Not as much as I want but I’m making money here and there. 2012 is the year I’ll be making money consistently and on a regular basis. I have the tools and the skills, so it’s time to get into it. I had a great year with the internet in 2011, 2012 will be awesome
Summary
I enjoyed 2011. I had some great days, some horrible days, had some brutally honest assessments about myself, given by others and given by myself and really had fun during 2011.
I have set goals and I know where I want to head. Now it’s time for me to get doing.
Goodbye 2011, you were a very interesting year.
See you soon, 2012.
