Content Curation Success Formula

Ever been stuck for what to write on your blog?  I know I have and there has been weeks (or even months) when I haven’t written a thing.

However, what’s obvious is that when I’m stuck, I can use curation and get fresh content on my website because it lets me write something.

So What is Content Curation?

According to Wikipedia

Content curation is the process of collecting, organizing and displaying information relevant to a particular topic or area of interest. Services or people that implement content curation are called curators. Curation services can be used by businesses as well as end users.

All those blogs and forums you read and find interesting information on, can be curated.  That DOESN’T mean you copy the whole post. That’s illegal and you DO NOT DO THAT! EVER!!!

There’s a correct process that allows you to find information that you can legally and ethically share on your site.  There is always a link back to the original creator because they created it, and you always acknowledge them.  You also add value, by commenting or disagreeing about what was written.  So that’s what Content Curation is about.

When I realized that I’m not the only one who can’t think of what to write and how has writers block, I talked with Hugh Hitchcock and together, we created Content Curation Success Formula.  This report shows you how you can create new posts using curated content.

Hugh is the CEO of Web Dimensions Inc and I’ve been working with him for the past 2 years.  He’s one of the smartest people I’ve ever met and he really knows what he’s talking about when it comes to curation.

Hugh makes amazing software including ICC Express, Keyworkz and a new product we’ll be releasing soon (hint, watch the video below for what it’s about).

If you want to see a post I created using curation, look at this post.  I curated three sources in that post, Seth Godin, Chris Brogan and Entrepreneur.com, all of whom I read on a regular basis and added comments about what I thought of those posts.

Have a look at our report, I think it’s great and I hope you enjoy it.  Remember, when you get stuck on what to write, try using curation, add value and keep your website fresh.

So tell me, have you ever used curation and if you do, what do you like about it.  If you don’t, do you want to know more?

Lets talk about it.
